BOOK OF THE MONTH PROGRAM

The Book of the Month is a schoolwide program to promote the love of good literature and a shared enjoyment of good books.  Books are selected by the principal for each month of the school year, and the Book of the Month is shared with all students in the school.

Click here for a copy of the overview document "Book of the Month: Books to Build Community" by Carmen Farina, former principal of P.S. 6 in New York. It includes a description of the program, book recommendations, and letters to parents and teachers.
