The Every Child a Reader and Writer Initiative facilitates the following professional development opportunities and planning sessions for our member school districts.
NETWORK TEAM MEETINGS
Network Team Meetings will be attended by Core District teams, comprised of a district administrator, a coach and a principal. During these quarterly gatherings, participants will share resources, discuss issues and guide the work of the network.
PRINCIPALS STUDY GROUP MEETINGS
A series of six half-day seminars will be provided for ECRW principals who previously completed one or more years of professional development in ECRW. The seminars will focus on instructional leadership and strategies for building professional learning communities.
PARTNER DISTRICT MEETINGS
Two meetings are scheduled during the year for district administrators from Partner Districts. During these gatherings, participants will share resources and discuss issues.
